Cheap complete golf sets?
I'm joining the golf team and I need some golf clubs. I want to buy a complete set. I already knowof the top brands, but I can't afford them. I don't want some cheap knock off brand either though. So can anyone tell me some brands that are good but don't cost hundreds of dollars and whatplaces I could buy them at? Thanks.
Golf set selection help...?
Alright. So some of you may have noticed I've posted a lot of answers in this section Golf . I know more than most people, outside of PGA professionals, about the golf swing itself. I know a lot of the rules, how to think around the course, etc.But HERE is where I'm terrible I know next to NOTHING about clubs themselves. I know what different flexes are, the impacts of loft, lie angle, etc. But when someone says to me " oh, dude..have you seen the new insert new big name iron set here ?" ...I'm just like " uhh...yeah, i don't know anything" .So here's my question. Is there anything particular to look for when shopping around for a new iron set? For a new driver? For wedges? I have big berthas right now, which I bought because they're more forgiving and I was pretty new to golfing regularly when I bought them. Plus, I'm a lefty and Phil's a lefty and hits Callaways. But now that my knowledge about how to BE a better golfer has exploded, this is the one thing I'm missing. I should be heading to golf school soon and I'm ready to get to being a scratch golfer this year. This, however, is going to take me out to get some new sticks. I need to know what to really look for when shopping around. I'll be getting fitted for length, lofts, lie angles, etc...but when it comes down to the different companies, I need to know if there's really anything to look for outside of how the set feels when you hit the ball. Thanks a lot for your input

Beginner complete golf set?
I am looking into buying my first golf set. It's just for golf days at work, and to go play with friend every now and then. Nothing fancy. The golf sets I have been looking at form most expensive to least expensive Pinseeker ViperTop flite StrataTop flite XLI have no idea how to pick a proper golf set. They are all stainless, and have the cavity design on the irons. If it was up to me I would have just picked the Strata since the bag looks the coolest. Building my own set, or gowning any better, would be to expensive and unnecessary for me at this stage.
